Underneath the Tectonic Movements as I Plod Writing a Story

Begin. For the first time in years (yes, after writing several mediocre story stories in 2000) I have the terrifying ecstatic feeling of knowing how to write a short story. Even the way it should be written came into my head like a path well-trodden and learned and studied. During the marathon sessions of writing the rough draft of the story for more than four, probably five, my wind still last as if I could go on for hours still. I just have the road well mapped out. My goal, which I repeat to myself as I write, is to write as simple and as clear as possible. Even when the time for the first rewriting session came, I know what to do with the text.... Drat! .... more next time......
